Weekend roadwork: Signs around the Perimeter
(WXIA) -- The Georgia Department of Transportation will continue to perform sign structure work on Interstate 285 this weekend.
Most of the projects will require lane closures, which could result in lengthy delays. Drivers are asked to avoid the Perimeter in impacted areas if possible.
All work is weather permitting.
Scheduled projects include:
Cobb County
1 lane of I-75 in each direction will be closed between Delk Road and South Marietta Parkway from 7:30 a.m. Saturday to 5:30 p.m. Sunday for sign structure work.
Coweta County
1 northbound lane of I-85 will be closed from 2 miles north of Bullsboro Drive from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly for striping.
DeKalb County
2 westbound lanes of I-285 will be closed between Northlake Parkway and Chamblee Tucker Road from 7:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for sign structure work.
