Earlier this week, on Pleasant Hill Rd. near Gwinnett Place Drive a tan or brown passenger car was traveling westbound on Pleasant Hill Rd. when the driver of that vehicle hit a pedestrian in the roadway just past Gwinnett Place Drive.

The pedestrian was not in the crosswalk. The driver of this vehicle did not stop after striking the pedestrian and continued westbound on Pleasant Hill toward Duluth. Witnesses provided a partial tag of “555” to investigators. The pedestrian was transported to Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville for life threatening injuries. The pedestrian died later at the hospital as a result of the injuries sustained from the collision.

The pedestrian has not been described as a young Hispanic male between the ages of 15 and 18. He is approximately 5’-8” and 141 pounds. He was also in possession of a white skateboard and an I-pod. This male did not have any identification or information leading to an address or next of kin.
