Duluth HS instructor named top Ga. strings teacher
DULUTH, Ga. -- Dr. Peter Lemonds was recently named Georgia's top teacher by the American String Teachers Association.
The Duluth High School orchestra co-director has nearly 30 years of teaching experience. He also works as lead teacher for school orchestras throughout Gwinnett County.

Lemonds earned his doctoral degree in musical arts from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He also holds a master's degree in music from Louisiana State University and bachelor's degrees in psychology and music from the University of the South.
