BALL GROUND, Ga. -- The Gwinnett Gladiators, Metro Atlanta's minor league ice hockey team, recently gave back to Ball Ground Elementary in a "beary" great way.

In January, several Ball Ground families attended the Gladiators' "Teddy Bear Toss" game against Florida Everblades.

To show their appreciation, the Gladiators visited the Cherokee County school last week with a fantastic gift: 300 stuffed animals for the community.

Ball Ground Elementary principal Doug Knott and Cherokee County Sheriff's Deputy Jay Baker assured that the toys, donated by the legion of Gladiator fans, will be put to good use in and around Ball Ground.
