DULUTH, Ga. -- More than 1,500 University of Phoenix students will be honored in two commencement ceremonies this Sunday.

Graduates will cross the stage of the Gwinnett Arena (6400 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth) at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Judy Gillett, a graduating Phoenix, will address her peers with an inspirational message for their futures. Gillett is a skin care product sales associate who is earning her associate's degree in business.

Another scheduled commencement speaker is Victor Antonio, the former CEO of a $420 million company. Antonio boasts 20 years of experience in business and sales; he is now working to become a faculty member at the University of Phoenix.

As part of its longstanding commitment to the community, the school's Atlanta campus will present $7,000 donations to two Roswell-based charities: the North Fulton Child Development Association and The Cottage School.

The University of Phoenix Atlanta campus is located at 8200 Roberts Drive in Sandy Springs. It offers undergraduate programs in business, communication, criminal justice, human services, nursing and health care, psychology, and technology. Graduate programs include business, criminal justice, nursing and health care, and technology.
