DULUTH, Ga. -- The Georgia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will hold its biggest fundraiser of the year in September.

Tickets are currently on sale for "There's No Place Like Home," which will be held Saturday, Sept. 7 at the Gwinnett Center Ballroom.

Attendees are invited to dress as their favorite Wizard of Oz characters to keep with the event's theme. Festivities include food, music, a silent auction and visits from "Psycho Kitty" star Pam Johnson-Bennett and radio host Tim Link.

"This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. We depend on the money raised at this event to help us rescue and find homes for more than 1,100 homeless pets each year," Georgia SPCA executive director Jane Stewart said in a statement.

Tickets for "There's No Place Like Home" are $50 and can be purchased at oz.georgiaspca.org.
