LAWRENCEVILLE-- There are tons of fun events going on this weekend, in your area. We’ve listed a few of them for you to check out with your family and friends.

The Aurora Theatre is hosting a play called, “Over the River and Through the Woods” about Hoboken, New Jersey, an Italian-American neighborhood with a tradition of eating dinner at the Gianelli’s house. It continues through June 5.

The Mutts & More Festival boats entertainment for families and their pets and is being presented by the Humane Society of Forsyth County. The Humane Society in conjunction with Petco Foundation and Rucker Pet will also host a Bark After Dark event, complete with music and dining. The event takes place at the Cumming Fairgrounds and starts at 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $10.

Check out the Duluth Art Walk on June 3. The walk offers more than 30 pieces of original art that will be given away. Guests can participate in a scavenger hunt, of sorts, by locating hidden tokens throughout the event.  Tokens can be found in Town Green and downtown merchants.  The art walk will also offer jewelry making, pottery, glass, pencil drawing and more. The art walk is located at 3142 Hill Street in Duluth.

The Brown Bag Concert will be held at the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse on Friday, June 3. Guests can pack a sack lunch and blanket, bring the kids and enjoy the sounds of Havana Son for the first in our concert series. Enjoy fun music, cool crafts, face painting and crazy hair style offerings. Vendors wishing to showcase their businesses and meet potential customers should partake in this unique networking opportunity.  The courthouse is located at 185 West Crogan Street in Lawrenceville.
