LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- There are tons of fun events going on this weekend, in your area. We’ve listed a few of them for you to check out with your family and friends.

This weekend, the Georgia Force vs New Orleans VooDoo, will hold their matchup on Friday night. The Georgia Force is back and better than ever in the new Arena Football League. Hold onto your seats - it's four quarters of high flying offenses, punishing defenses and fast as lightning action. The games are played at the Arena at Gwinnett Center.

E.E. Robinson Park will be showing “How to Train Your Dragon” on Friday, at the park. Bring your chairs, blankets and a picnic basket and enjoy a movie on the green with your entire family. Robinson Park is located at 850 Level Creek Road in Sugar Hill.

Known as the Southeast's largest Christian music fest, The AtlantaFest at Stone Mountain Park, will rock Stone Mountain Park for the third year, in a row. Both, families and church youth groups are invited to enjoy four days of contemporary Christian Music, inspirational speakers and much more. Award-winning artists such as Skillet, Newsboys, Family Force 5, Brandon Heath, Matthew West, Red and over 40 more will headline Atlanta Fest stages. Stone Mountain Park is located at US Highway 78.

Suwanee Town Canter Park will be showing “Despicable Me” on Saturday, at the park, during their weekly, Town Center Cinema Movie Night. Bring your chairs, blankets and a picnic basket and enjoy a movie on the green with your entire family. Suwanee Town Canter Park is located at the intersection of Buford Highway and Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road in Suwanee.

The Athens Area Association of REALTORS PR Committee will hold a fundraiser to benefit the Athens Area Homeless Shelter. The committee has partnered with the Normaltown Flyers to hold a concert at the Athens VFW on Saturday, June 18, 2011. This event will be open to the public and tickets are limited. The event starts at 8:00 p.m. and tickets are $15 in advance. The VFW is located at 835 Sunset Drive in Athens.
