DULUTH, Ga. -- Goodwill of North Georgia will hold eight job fairs Wednesday.

The fairs will give job seekers across the region a chance to connect with dozens of employers.

"Each of our career centers holds regular job fairs, but this is the first time we've combined our efforts to create a single-day impact," said Elaine Armstrong, director of public relations for Goodwill of North Georgia.

The job fairs will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Goodwill has career centers in Athens, Atlanta, Cartersville, Decatur, Duluth, Oakwood, Rome and Woodstock.

Attendees are asked to dress professionally and bring several copies of their résumés.

"We know many people start the year looking for new job opportunities. This one-day event will allow us to help them connect with employers while highlighting the myriad of resources each location offers every day," Armstrong said.
