GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -- Gwinnet County police officers are working to track down a man who allegedly robbed a Chase Bank in unincorporated Duluth on Monday afternoon.
Cpl. Jake Smith reported that around 1:15 p.m., officers responded to the Chase Bank of 3780 Old Norcross Road on a call of an armed robbery.
During the incident, the suspect gave a note to a teller, which said he had a bomb and wanted money. The teller gave him a small amount of cash, and the suspect ran from the bank on foot, Smith said.
Witnesses saw no vehicle used for getaway.
The robber is a white male, 45-55 years old, with an average height and build. He wore blue jeans, a tan coat, a black knit cap and sunglasses.
