Gwinnett County to hold special election

LAWRENCEVILLE – (submitted by News for Neighborhoods) The special election to fill the unexpired term of chairman of the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners will take place on Tuesday, March 15 from 7AM to 7PM at your voting precinct. You may vote early from February 14 to March 4, 9:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Early voting hours are extended starting on March 7 through 11, from 9:00am to 7:00pm Monday through Friday. Early voting is located only at the Gwinnett County Voter Registration and Elections Office located at 455 Grayson Highway, Suite 200, in Lawrenceville, 30046 (in the Town Center shopping center).  

Voters can also request an absentee ballot for the special election. A completed application must first be received before an absentee ballot is issued. Please call the Voter Registration and Elections division at 678.226.7210 to request an application or complete the form online.
