GWINNETT COUJNTY, Ga. -- Over 10,500 students are getting ready to take part in 21 graduation ceremonies throughout Gwinnett County.

The Class of 2013 is the largest graduating class ever in Gwinnett County, as reported by a Gwinnett County Public School spokesman.

"We are very proud of this year's senior class and all that these students have accomplished during their academic careers. On behalf of the Board of Education and our community, I congratulate them and wish them the best as they start a new chapter in their lives," GCPS CEO/Superintendent Alvin Wilbanks said. "As the members of the Class of 2013 head off to college and into careers, they will carry the lessons they learned in Gwinnett classrooms with them, which is a testament to our teachers and their hard work and commitment."

Making up the Class of 2013 is 2,318 Honor Graduates, with a grade percent average of 90 or better, GCPS reported. Puls, over 500 students were already in dual enrollment, meaning they got a jump start on college work.
