UPDATE: Gwinnett County Police have arrested a woman suspected of robbing a bank earlier in the week.

A tipster who recognized the woman in the surveillance photos showed on the news identified her as 58-year-old Johnette Pinkerton of Lawrenceville.

Pinkerton was arrested on Thursday and is being held without bond in the Gwinnett County Detention Center.

DULUTH, Ga. -- Police in Gwinnett County are looking for a woman suspected of robbing a local SunTrust bank.

The robbery happened at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the branch on Pleasant Hill Road in unincorporated Duluth.

Gwinnett Police spokesman Jake Smith said the woman handed a threatening note to a bank teller. She received about $3,000 in cash and left the bank in a light-colored passenger car.
